There are two versions of the PS3 and the 20GB version retails for USD 500 while the 60GB version for USD 600. According to gaming gurus it is too early to say what the PS3 will achieve, the sane advice is to wait a year before passing any judgments.

The hardware is state-of-art and impressive. The PS3 has:

o A cell processor that is very advanced and is all set to support GenX computer entertainment. And instead of using off the shelf Pc components the PS3′s 3.2 GHz Cell processor was built from scratch just for the PS3. Sony PSP 3000 Review

The Sony PSP 3000 is Sony‘s newest advancement in mobile gaming. The 3000 is certainly an upgrade from previous PSP models. Right away you notice that the color looks sharper and brighter. At times in older models, when you went into a dark area in the game it became hard to see and navigate your way around the game. The sony PSP 3000 also features Skype, and built in microphone to further advance the PSP in online gaming. The PSP also has a great game lineup with many of your favorite titles from the original playstation as well as new titles. Many of these titles also offer graphics that are superb to titles available for the Nintendo DS.

While the 3000 is definitely a step in the right direction, that does not mean that the system is perfect. During graphic intense moments while gaming, the system often displays scan lines and even has some lag while it computes what’s going on. The screen also has problems of its own. If you are able to actually remove all of the fingerprints the screen seems to attract, you then have to worry about the glare. I don’t think anyone is sure why Sony isn’t using glare resistant screens with their PSP’s, as it has been one of the biggest complaints throughout their production.

In conclusion, if you own a PSP already, it’s probably not worth the upgrade. If you are considering buying a PSP, the 3000 is the best model currently available. The PSP 3000 is a step in the right direction, but the system is still far from perfect.

Sony Ericsson P990i Mobile Phone Review

The Sony Ericsson P series smart phones have been around for a few years now, and over their various generations have gone from being a fairly bulky PDA alternative with the early models P900 and P910 through to being an extremely capable smart phone that leads the market with the latest generation P990i model.

Although slightly larger than many competing smart phones, the Sony Ericsson P990i is well worth considering for business use thanks to its comprehensive range of features, which include a complete QWERTY keyboard hidden under the regular dialling keypad, which flips down to reveal it.

The phone has a touch screen, and can be controlled with a stylus in order to enter data or navigate through the menu systems, and it runs on the popular Symbian operating system, meaning that anyone who is used to smart phones should have no trouble in adapting to the ownership of a Sony Ericsson P990i from their previous model. One of the biggest upgrades on the latest model is the fact that it can now offer a 400 hour standby time and more than 9 hours of talk time when fully charged.

As you would expect from the flagship model in the range, the P990i has been released with almost every conceivable gadget built in, including a 2 mega pixel camera, a fully featured MP3 and media player, and is able to connect to a wireless network as well as a standard mobile phone network as well.

With its large screen and keyboard, surfing the internet is a straightforward matter, and, if you have wifi access where you are, the download speeds are exceptionally fast. Most prominent document types are supported on the phone, including Microsoft office files such as Word and Excel, and you can open and read PDF files too.

The P990i is fully capable of being your digital assistant, and users can keep in touch in practically any location with its mix of Quad band and 3G networks that support email, SMS, MMS, Video Calling, and instant messaging through the wifi connection to the Internet.

Although most of the functionality of this particular model is geared towards the heaviest business users, the P990i is still worth considering for other purposes, and many people who make the switch to this kind of top end phone soon discover that it offers them everything that they need to stay in touch, and acts as a digital handbag rather than just being a simple phone.

PSP Themes – Have You Got Your New PSP Theme Yet?

I love my PSP, I love playing the latest games, downloading music, watching movies. But I’m fed up with all PSP’s looking the same. That was until I came across PSP Themes. WOW these are so cool.

Basically a PSP theme is a background picture and all the icons that control the home page so to speak. Who wants to be stuck with the boring standard theme when you can have a pimped up customized PSP Theme. Be the envy of your friends

So where do you get these PSP themes from? Well For some reason most people only venture as far as Sony‘s own Playstation website to find a theme. Now there is nothing wrong with this but how can you hope to have a unique PSP if everyone downloads there Theme from the same place. OK they do have a lot of choice, but obviously thousands of users will also be looking at them. I would avoid the main site.

The next way to find a PSP Theme is to use good old Google, millions of people use Google everyday to all sorts of things. If you search smart not only will you find a decent PSP theme but also a good guide on how to install it, should you have any problems. Instead of searching for PSP themes directly from Google, you could try and search PSP communities on the web? If you search for forums and newsgroups, you will almost always find some great resources and info, either by other forum members or from forum threads. This is a great way to find custom-made PSP Themes.

If your really clever you could design your own PSP Theme, now this isn’t easy but you will be rewarded with a totally unique PSP Theme. Any art program on your computer can create a custom Theme You can create a wallpaper with practically any art program, and as long as you save it as a JPEG file it should be compatible. If you don’t feel up to designing or making your own, why not ask someone to make a custom theme for you.
